Default Bent shaft on old power auger

Hey, I have an old TAS auger (QIA-10) with a bent shaft. It's an antique as far as I can tell and I'm not sure how to source a replacement. If anybody knows what would fit on this thing I'd appreciate the help.

Lot's of good used augers for sale on kijiji for not a lot of money. Maybe way better off going that route.

Measure the diameter of the shaft. Then measure the diameter of replacement augers. Drill a new hole to pin if needed. Personally I wouldn't bother with something that old.

I'll buy that off you. Looks like a piece of equipment that fell off a Russian Sputnick back in the 50's. Lol
I'm betting that with my 40.00 you can save a lot of money by buying one on Kijiji.

Is the output shaft bent or the auger shaft?

Thanks for the input guys. It is the shaft on the bit that's the issue. I'll probably try Tyler's way and see if I can find one that's compatible. If not then I guess I'll start harassing my welder buddies.
I get offers on it pretty regularly (albeit from people that haven't watched me ride it lol) but im pretty proud of myself for getting it running so I'm not very willing to part with it.

Love my TAS auger. Unfortunately, can't help you, but I hope you get it fixed. I refuse to buy a new auger because this one works so well.

Mines a black one. Here's a thread I made about it last year:

It had been sitting in my dads garage for 20+ years and we took it out, cleaned it up and it started right up! Beast of a machine.

That was you! I read that thread a few times when I was trying to get it running. Helped me figure out the fuel leak from the carb. I never noticed the augers the guys said they used though, so thanks for the link. Yours is definitely prettier lol
