Default Travers

Thinking of trying travers out for the first time for some sharks. Does anyone have any advice or reports of what to expect? If anyone would be willing to give me an idea on a generalized area to start I'd appreciate it and maybe what depth to work at. I am mostly a trout guy so the pike thing is kinda new to me

There are some very big pike in that lake. The problem with Traverse is the ice, it can go from 24 to 6 inches in a heartbeat. Fish with big baits and tip ups and be patient !

Know of a fella that caught a 31lber on the west side across from the park launch. 6-8" smelts is all you need. Have a chance of picking up some walleyes and maybe a burb. Good luck.

Across from the park launch there's a rock on the shore, about 20ft from that is/was a weed bed in December, I had some pretty good action there.
