Default My camping and fishing holiday.

Spent 3 weeks at 3 different places, camping, at Carson Pegasus, Jasper, and William A. Switzer provincial park. Being a new fly fisher I had various degrees of success at fishing Jasper. I tried some river fishing but wasn't very successful with that. Fished Moab, Pyramid and Horseshoe lakes. Even when I wasn't catching fish I very much enjoyed the scenery! Here are some of the pics I want to share with you, I hope you enjoy!

Looks like you had a terrible time.

Tell you what,
You should probably invite me next time, you know...because it was so awful.

HaHaHa!!! Yes it was real awful!
Tell you what it would have been better if I'd been like these 2 Americans from the south, that pulled up at Pyramid lake and put their waders on and walked into the lake up to their chest and started fly fishing and catching fish like every second cast!!!! I was in my float tube a little ways away struggling for a couple bites!! I was a little miffed to say the least!!

We fished Gregg Lake for whatever would bite on spoons and jigs, I did latch onto what I think was a big jack but he came off halfway to the boat.
I fly fished the Jarvis creek for Browns and didn't even see one!!! I would cast up the creek a ways not to spook them but nothing! Couldn't even catch a rainbow in the Pond!! A family came with Power bait and caught a bunch! LOL! Here I was on my float tube trying every fly pattern under the sun!!
