Default I almost cried...

My buddy has a quad and loves to strap his gfuns to the front and back...
foolishly, I let him attatch my Golden Mountie 39A and the Sako to the rack thingys...

All I can say is thank god for the scope covers...

I am sure there was two pounds of mud on each rifle... !!!!

I know rifles are to be hunted with,...but come on!!!!

He has a savage 300 wsm...

After the ride, he took his finger, rooted the mud out of his scope and proceeded to shoot a coyote at 300 yrds...

I was crying in the bushes with a rag and gun oil....lol

Or even just a 10.00 gun sock helps in those kind of conditions.

Hey there buddy... long time no chat.

I have a similar set up with my quad however I don't go flying through mud to shoot things.

BTW, how good are those "gun socks" anyway? do they keep your firearms dry and clean? even when bashing though the woods on a wet day?

Thanks and enjoy the rest of the season.
