Pike and perch are native Alberta fish. I'd love to have a pond stocked with them. If I only could have perch that would be fine with me. I'd find a way to keep them from stunting. Check out the Pond Boss forum for some pond perch pics.

im saying a buddy put a few pike and a couple walleye in his dugout. they were still in there a few years later. they did alright in his dugout. and, i was saying its probably hard for a hatchery to raise pike compared to trout. i would think it may be more of a hassle feeding pike in a hatchery, where as trout can be fed pellets....... not sure if pike can be fed pellets.....
