Default Sako optilock ring inserts 1 inch

I broke both inserts taking them off a scope. Stoegers and all the usual parts suppliers online say they are out of stock.

Anyone have a source for Optilock Ring Inserts 1"?

Tried searching the web and I see there are quite a few available in Australia and New Zealand for a crazy amount of money. Brownels has them in stock, but you need someone in the US to forward them to you because they wouldn’t ship them to Canada (crazy stuff!):

This thread on some forum says that the guy called Beretta and they sent him the inserts for free a couple of years ago, but that’s in the US; could be worth trying calling Stoeger?

If you find a set, please let me know. I would grab one or two just in case the same thing happens to mine if I ever remove the scope.

I would think that if they are just broken with clean breaks that you would be able to use them . Burris uses plastic inserts that are 2 piece .

Called Stoeger myself. Not as helpful as the American fella suggested on the forum cited above, but would have doubt that that would be the case, eh?

Basically they have them backordered and have no idea when they will have stock. Sign up for in-stock notification on their website was their best suggestion.

Can you use Burris inserts in their place, until you can get Sako inserts?

I used a broken set for 2 years till I found some years ago , If there broken cleanly no big deal .There is no room for them to move once snug .

Try Ell woods epps ,there smith who they use to farm stuff out to may have a stripped set with good inserts .

Ross at the Gun Dealer in McAdam New Brunswick ,They use to have piles of stuff ???

I will keep an eye out . there has to be some hoarder or pack rat with a set ,but remember they could be dried out also.Need them to remove very carefully .
