Default Photogenic Whitetail

I have only had time to put out one camera so far this year, and have a pile of pictures of this buck on it. I don't think I will bother putting any others out. My daughter has her heart set on this buck, and needless to say I don't blame her. Last season, he gave her the slip a couple times, and were hoping to this year make it her first buck.
This is my favorite pose so far and have been following him for a few years. Hopefully we will check back in with a good story and field photos. She has been shooting her new APA very well and is pumped to say the least. It is killing her waiting for the right wind to get in the stand.

He is prime, what a beast. Good luck, and good to see your waiting for the wind before blowing your shot for the year.

What a beauty.

For those good with #'s...what is a guess at score on that guy? (4x4 or 5x5?)

I haven't seen him on the cam for over a week now. Hope he's just out doing his rounds. In that pic it is hard to see his brow tines. Their there and look to be about 6" long. I too would like to hear what kind of number those that are good at scoring come up with?

Good brows, average beams, mass and tine length, can't see much more than 70" per side with an 18" spread would put in the high 150s gross I think. Maybe slightly higher . Not a book deer by any means but really nice to see, I personally would pass him if I had any history with it or it was in a spot I could keep an eye on him, don't think he's done yet and would be just as happy to pick his sheds.

You should let Mountain Guy come shoot it.

I came up with 74 a side and 20" spread. 168".

I am very close to John

I have
mb-23
mass 16.5
G1-5.5
g2-10
G3-11
G4-7.5
inside-18
73.5 R side and spread for 165 gross is my guess. Dandy deer , big and mature. i would be proud to harvest him with any weapon.

good luck!

B.
