I'm not sure if they do it, but you could ask these guys, they are in High River:

https://www.olsonsilver.com/

You could also ask JD Moore at Eamor saddlery in Nanton.

And, somewhere around here I have a business card for some Belgian Master engravers that are located in Quebec. That will cost you a pretty penny though. Their work is incredible.

If they'll do it, I'd recommend Olson silver in High River, I've seen a lot of nice buckles turned out by them, top notch work!

Gun engraving is completely different from silver engraving. Some silversmiths are set up to engrave steel,, most aren't. Steel being much harder it takes a different set of tools, bits. My brothers a silversmith and bit and spur maker. dtrefzsilver.com While he's done some steel engraving he won't touch guns. Claims it's a different craft. Steel has to be annealed before it can be engraved then re tempered. This is much more involved process with certain liability issues.

X2, it's a rare and vanishing art. Wonder if this is an option ?

A friend of mine is an engraver. I'm sure he'd do it. Let me know if interested via PM.

^^^ I haven't found the business card yet Amos. But yes I think that is his name. We talked at length at the Calgary Easter gunshow. They have a very nice display booth and dress real sharp, such as Armani shirts etc.
