Default Travers

I can't believe what I pulled out of Travers this evening. I've never caught anything this big off shore, especiallly in this heat.

That is one nice Pike!!! Was that near the inlet from McGreggor or at the S.E. end of the reservoir? I've never been down that far yet so it may be worth a go. Again, well done!!

It's in fish management zone PP1. Look under Travers Reservoir.

not 10. 12 or 13 Id say. depending on the holders size, might even be 14 but at least 12

We went to Travers on Wednesday and caught one lonely little Pike which was lucky enough to be under legal size and went back in. We went down to the main dam and didn't get a single strike. We were heading back to the north arm when the Chinook wind struck. It made it too rough to troll properly so we went to the west end and tried our luck there. We struck out again. Regardless of the poor showing it was till great to get out on the water for the day. By looking at the rocks on the main dam face I at least answered my own question about the location of where the big Pike was caught.
