where to buy/sell a bow?

hi guys. i just bought a new (to me) compound bow from another forum member so i am selling 2 other bows that i won't be using. i have already posted in AO's buy/sell but kijiji does not allow you to sell a bow on thier site and i'm wondering if there is any other buy/sell sites that you would reccommend? thanks.

Put it on Archery Talk and do both the US and Canadian sub site. I just traded a bow on there and have done lots of deals for accessories. If you don't have a trader rating there you better use paypal so the buyer has some protection.

There are bows advertised on kijiji. I sold a bow on it before.

I sold one of my bows on kijiji only a few months ago with no issues.
What seems to be your problem?
Could it be the category?
I just headlined it under general sports.

If you have Facebook there's a group called archery buy and sell canada. Lots of people use it. Kijiji will take all weapons including bows off there site if seen by a mod. Just have to word it right and hope a mod doesn't see it. I've sold 2 bows on kijiji sofar but most of my ads got deleted at least once.

thanks for the tip about AT. i'll check it out.
as for kijiji, i tried to post it in outdoor sports, or gen sports but i did use the word compound bow in the ad and was red flagged. apparently it is against there policy to buy/sell guns or archery equipement. could try to sneak around it by wording ad differently but not worth the hassle.

Sold bows on ebay.ca, Canadian gunnutz and archerytalk.com. Listed bows on kijiji as archery equipment, target bows are considered sporting equipment if you list as hunting bow the mods delete.

thanks for that tip. gonna try it again.

didn't work. seems the word BOW sets off a red flag. tried to list it under archery equipement. kept it short and sweet with no mention of hunting. Oh well.
