Here we go again where Flames can't buy a bounce. All going the other teams way.
And we are plying horrible. No energy and again so many mistakes.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Talbot already. Has he been played at all yet?

Yup, it was Rittich. Just showed the replay. Can’t say I blame the guy though. He’s been hung out to dry.

Feel free to hang onto that quote, for the rest of the season. I stand by it.. We are loosing to a bottom feeder, no excuse.

Got some straightening out to do I see.

Blahhhh. No effort.....

Doughty was yapping on after hours and got caught in a lie. He said he had better rivalries with lots of people. Both CBC hosts turned on him like a fat kid on candy asking WHO WHO WHO WHO

100% deer in the head lights look and he made up some BS.. I actually started to clap!

Next game is coming up against these guys. Could be great!

so that's what you get for 7 million dollars in this day. I liked the old tough guys like John Ferguson of the Canadians.

Chucky couldn’t hold Ferguson’s wet jock strap. Then again not many could these days.

In other news, Did you know the Goalies wear masks now?

:-)

I miss the the 80's tough guys but that hockey was so slow compared to today.
I sometimes wonder if the speed of the game is causing some of these injuries?
I also hate the instigator rule.

I will never understand comments like this, were they supposed to be equal in points? Did you actually expect Lucic to have as many points?

To the best of my knowledge, people actually thought they would.

The best allegory I can come up with is trading a hyped up Trans Am for a F350 Lariat and then having all the mullets bragging about how the Trans AM is faster. Yes, they both get you from point A to B, till the Trans Am breaks down anyway, but they have very different purposes.

Nope . Looch is playing his role well now. He was brought into Edmonton to bring leadership and to bang in ugly goals from the front of the net on power plays. He failed in that role. Neal is doing that role now. Nicely. We got what we want. Flames got what they want.(flames knew looch wasn’t a 30 goal scorer anymore)
Both teams come out ahead on the trade. (Giving the slight edge of the trade to the oilers though...)
Win win.

Flames called up Quine and sent Kylington down. Need to do something here, break up the top line. Put Johnny or Monny down a line until they can start producing. I hope they are more motivated today after that embarrassment last night. Will be tough to turn it around in 24 hours back to back on the road. We will see.

I'd be interested to see what a:

Johnny-Monahan-Mangipani
Chucky-Dube-Lindholm
Reider-Backlund-Bennet
Lucic-Ryan-Czarnik

Would look like.

No Bennet.
They brought up Alan Quine and had to send down Kylington (Salary cap issues)

Cam Talbot gets the start.

And the mullet comment was EXTREMELY funny. When I see a Oiler fan post I just keep thinking about those 2 goofs at the beginning of Letterkenny.. Hold my spitter!! Treasure chest trail... LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

For those that are following, Talbot stopped the first shot.

He just made a great stop on a giveaway too....

In case you're wondering refs, it's not calling stuff like that which causes games to "get out of hand" and make you look silly.
