Hey Gents
I have a few projects in mind.
I'd love to see the DIY projects completed by the guys on the forum.

wow pretty nice stuff,
I like doing woodwork, but what ever I make is usually crooked as hell, or I cut the pieces to short, off in the fire pit it goes.

Stay with it Wes, you're skills will improve.
That is impressive work. Thank-you for posting.
I hope my table turns out half this good.
Are you doing this as a profession or a hobby?
I have started to pick ou a few of the required items in the last few weeks. Table saw, new drill, Kreg jig.
It's been since High-School that I have done anything like this. While I wasn't particularly skilled at that time so hope my skills have improved. Made the wife and activity tower for the kids and it turned out OK I thought.

Nice work!, that wood is amazing.... if you have anymore of it I would be interested in taking it off your hands.

I am a carpenter doing all the custom work for a cabinet shop in Lethbridge, however all of those photos are projects I have made for myself.

I have a couple pieces, not sure if I have enough to do another stock but I have a slab of that burl that is close to 2' wide and irregular width but around .5" to 1.5" thick of more intense burl then whats on that winchester.
The wood is box elder, I'll see if I can find it in the garage when i get home today, my long term plan is to nickel plate it, put on one of my larger then stock lever loops and sell it to fund the next project.
