Default Back for Seconds (Lake Trout)

Just had to head back to Cold Lake this weekend for another try at some Lakers. We went out early on Sunday and my group got completely skunked the entire day. Bummer. Tried a couple different spots and couldn't hook into anything! So we went back out Monday morning and set up again for another try. Finally after about 4 hours I got a hit and pulled up this guy in the pic 6.4 lbs.. a little bigger then my two from two weekends ago. This fish made my entire trip though! Cant wait to try Cold Lake in open water this year now! Its addicting

Yep Lakers are my crack of the alberta fish. Started last year and am going through some serious withdraws....soon open water will be upon us. Wanted to try hard water, but just never got around to it. Well done and thanks for posting !

Great catch fishergrrrl. Thanks for posting the pics. Hope you get the big one in the summer. I'm sure it would be fun catching a 20 pounder on a rod.
