Default Fishing gods have blessed me this weekend!!

Had an amazing weekend of fishing the NSR.

Saturday I caught me first double, a walleye and a pike. Though thats not the coolest part! When I caught the walleye and reeled it in the pike was chasing after the eye! So I paused for a second and the pike stuck at the walleye t-bone style but it must have been a little too big so it spit out the eye and eventually bit a minnow that was on the 2nd hook of the p-rig, VERY COOL TO WATCH! Just so everyone knows the little eye was fine in the end and swam away probly thinking "WTF WAS THAT"

Sunday I caught my 2nd sauger though this one was much bigger and more mature then the only other one I have caught, cool looking fish.

And last but not least, yesterday I caught a HUGE walleye thats about 75-77cm (30-31 Inches) going by my detective work using my sandal in the picture as a base measurement of 12.5 inches. This thing was a HOG and was taking line like nothing else I have caught from the river, fought much harder then a pike of the same size. For sure my catch of the season unless something else comes along my way. This fish was massive, just incredible. This fish might not be big to some of you, more seasoned fisherman, but it made my day thats for sure!!!

And lastly on a side note, in a previous thread I mentioned a W.T.P. that I came across at legends the other day, well returning the next day I saw they had left a HUGE FUKING MESS which was no surprise really. I did not have garbage bags on me so I couldnt do much. Well the day after I did bring some bags, but someone had already cleaned it up!!! Just wanted to say thanks to whoever did that if you are a frequent on this site, its people like you that we need around. Just to confirm, you would have picked up about 24 palm bay cans amongst other things hahahah

Happy fishing everyone!!
