Going this Monday for the opener. Excited and will be going no matter what geese or no geese ducks or no du...wait ya it doesn't matter. A bad day hunting is still alright by me

First time goose hunting
Went out last weekend for my first hunt with my grandpa, the man who inspires me to get into this great past-time. Convinced the girlfriend to come as well, so we got lots of geese on that beautiful Saturday morning! Even had the pup sitting in the blind and he had no issue with the gunfire.

Me and my partner have Been out a few times this year after ducks with not much luck. Yesterday morning we went out to the usual place and low an behold there are 4 geese in the slew. Long story short we ended up with 2 of them.
