in all seriousness, has anyone been out to chain recently? looking to take a new ice fisher with me somewhere. If PCR has 2-3" (as seen in another thread), I'd imagine chain can only have more. It iced up faster last year.

I was on pcr yesterday and the ice although only 3 inches was clear and hard. It was totally windswept though, I would think chain if not snow covered would be good to go.
