Default Fishing the shuswaps

The wife and I were thinking about doing some camping in BC this year and I was curious about fishing.
I have never fished in bc, don't know the regulations or any techniques.
I have my own boat and gear less some downriggers which I assume I will need.
Please give me some advice and wether may, June, July or aug would be better.

no bait in that lake, single hook barbless. Go get some apex's and buzz bombs work good... troll in about 37 feet of water for rainbows and on the bottom for lakers

If i was to go pick late may early june and you can get away with out using riggers.on the top i like using lyman 4 inch plugs in simple light and dark colors blacks, whites, gray and some that may look like small rainbows or other forage fish.spoons have been some years the only thing i can get fish on(add a fake eye to the spoon) apexs are great in colors silver, blue, green and the trusty watermelon down 30 to 60 feet.good luck
