Default Optimist, Pessimist, or Realist?

You know the drill.

It's the glass half full?
Half empty?

Or the third option.....
Where's the other half, and who or why is it this way?

Where do you fall?

I'm usually mostly the last situation.

if I find my glass 1/2 full...then I better go find the culprit who drank the bottom half...give that person a spanking, at the very least...
Zip

but to answer the question as it was asked...most days its 1/2 full, but the odd day I have to admit...1/2 empty would be the answer

Half full if I have more beer to fill it with.

Half empty if I have no beer left to fill it with.

Either way, I have half a glass of beer.

I would describe myself as a jaded, optimistic cynic.

Last time I was asked if the glass was half full, or half empty ... I picked it up, shot back what was left and poured another full one... Replied “Neither, I’m a problem solver”...

Always half full.
Why be half empty. We all know where that ends up...empty.

Empty sucks.

I am an optimistic realist, most of the time and a pessimist occasionally.

I'm a pessimist now. Haven't always been that way, I'd say realist 2 years ago. I feel the world is falling apart on so many different levels these days. Quickly. I don't let it really affect me anymore. I just live my life and try my best to ignore all the crap. I used to get upset, but there is so much I disagree with and hate. I try to put on the blinders or I'd go crazy. I have a young daughter, and fear the world she will inherit...

Neither half full or half empty...just more to drink. If it tastes like s#*t or Chardonnay depends on the day

And he thinks the other half is his too, he resents you having it.

It is both depending on whether you are filling it or drinking it. If you are filling it it is half full and you need to keep going. If you are drinking it, it is half empty and you need to slow down and enjoy what is left
