okay so a little late but opening weekend me and my dad both took nice bears, ill start with my story first. we had seen this bear the night before and tried to put a stock on him but it got to dark so we left and decided to come back the next morning. to our suprise he was still there in the morning but being that it was only sun up and he wasnt going anywhere we deced to go see if we could find any elk with no luck and it closing in on 10 we decided to go back and see if the bear was still there and we pop over this ridge and theres 2 now! the new one was a nice big chocolate and he was closer so we decided to put a stock on him and the orginal bear was feeding towads the chocolate and when he seen him he took off into the bush witch was fine cause there was one less set of eyes but as mother nature would have its way the wind started to swirl and at 90 yards busted as bears have great noses. so we didnt give up yet we went and set up and tryed a predator call and no way 5 mins later the black bear apears 100 yards down wind makes his way up to 50 yards then disapears for 30 mins so my buddy brandon does 2 more long hard sets and out of no where the bear walks to my left 30 yards broadside and i smoked him double lung he only ran about 90 yards went down in sight it was awesome having a bear coming into a call. then the following morning my dad gets on this big brown and puts a stock on him and when he gets down in this gullie and comes over top the bears stand striaght up at him gorwling at 10 yards! my dad more in self defense then anything drew his bow and shot him right in the brisket taking out one lung the bear looked like he did a back flip it was quite a site to see. My hunt is on film ill try and up load it later but heres the pictures
