Default Pine Pass, BC

Anyone had any luck in the Pine Pass in BC? I'm thinking around powderking in the Missinchinka (spelling?) and other rivers around there. Also the lakes, it seems like everyone knows somebody else who knows how to catch fish there...but they themselves never has any luck. I'm stumped!

Anglers Atlas covers the area pretty good.

I never tried Azouette Lake

Aquatic Invertebrates are the same you find in the Rockies north of Hinton to GC to GP.

Consider fishing around Hudson Hope for Peaceabows and heading towards PG.

Fished a bunch north of Mackenzie a bunch of years ago . Lots of trout (bows+bulls) , whites and grayling in most of the tributaries to willaston (sp?) lake . Check the regs I think the Manson river is closed , but lots of fun to be had exploring that area. Forestry maps are a great asset from the local forestry office , shows lakes roads and camp grounds !
Also if you go a little farther east , there is lots of great fishing around chetwynd, tumbler ridge area ! Had a blast last summer and C+R more grayling in a day than I did all year in AB !

heart lake is pretty good, its a small campsite on the left hand side of road if your travelling south. You cross the pine all over the place. Farther south the crooked river is good, there is a big pull out on the right side and you can wade up and down catching fish. Watch for the spring closure however.

The Pine is excellent fishing. You can wade it easily. Lots of good grayling and rainbows. Hart lake is a good campground or you can bush camp. Little to no pressure has been my experience.
