Default S&W Bodyguard Special Status in Canada??

Hey Guys, Am new to Canada but am just wondering would the S&W bodyguard special (the one with the integral laser) be prohib in Canada due to its shortened barrel length??

That would definitely be a prohib. Its not even got half the required barrel length to be classified as restricted.

Pistol/revolver barrels have to be more than 4" in length. Otherwise prohib. 4" = no go. 4-1/8" = restricted. As always...I'm just a guy on the internet...so make sure you check things out to be sure.

Any new Handgun registrations have to be "over 4" Barrel length". There is a provision that does allow ownership of shorter barrel handguns : 12 (6) but I believe it is only allowed on a Grandfather Basis.
Being a new arrival to Canada that would rule you out.
