Priority 10 for trophy antelope
Guess I'll pull the trigger on acquiring this draw.
257WBY with 110 accubonds is my ticket.
Not sure what zone I'll favor... north or south of Medicine Hat

I’m a P12 for antelope but my wife is only a 10 so will probably just increase priority. My nephew is a 12 for antelope so I will probably go with him. Should get drawn for bull moose as well.

My guess is lot of elk and moose are going to be moved around by the mega fires burning in many WMU's. May need to alter your draw plans for few years.

Default Draws

This year is bull moose for me ( yes, I know it is technically antlered, Jackfish/pike &#128514 and also first rifle at Camp wainwright for deer as long as historical draw priorities stay the same. Antelope is another possibility but I think I’ll wait till next year so I can concentrate all my efforts on that moose starting in archery season.

Do you think we will see the allocation numbers before the draw closes ....changes in tag numbers could really change the draw odds in some zones.

Pulled very high MD buck draws last year. Jr got his. Trophy Antelope is next but have to check the draw results as we may need a year or two for JR to catch my sky high points. He is close.

Might get in on the last season of Camp Wainwright if were real lucky with the draw.

Looks like general elk and WT tags this year will be our hunts.

If memory serves me right when you apply for your draws it shows the residents allocation numbers on Alberta realm for each wmu.

I’m looking forward to this info because if they cut the moose tags in our wmu the back up plan is P16 Elk instead which is a sure bet.

If they don’t post the info this year you can find your specific info but it will take a few phone calls.

And check the Draw Summary from last year to gauge your chances of being drawn: https://www.albertarelm.com/cust.drawsummary22.page

Should draw antlered mule deer and moose this year. Really looking forward to this season as it's the first in several years that I'll get more than just a day or 2 to hunt for myself.

One thing I noticed this year while applying, the quota for this year showed up on my draw choice before finalizing the application. I don't remember ever knowing how many tags were released until draw results get posted. Is this new for this year or has it been the case since the tag system went online?

Likely first year showing available tags at draw time.
I also saw it when putting in my Walleye draws.

I think one email with confirmation on all my draws would have been sufficient, but 8 separate emails is so you know you're dealing with the government...

At least the e-mails showed the correct hunt choice for priority only draws, looking at the application online displayed different three digit numbers for hunt choices, instead of priority only.
