You have incredible dedication to gopher shooting. If you are shooting center fire, you must do a tremendous amount of reloading.
I hate to think about your gas bill.

3843 + 7 = 3850 . Blasting a few with 12 gauge when I get a chance while seeding . Bb from the defender works pretty good . Buck shot better

Me too!!! Used to be one of my favorite things to do back home on a sunday afternoon!!! Now the nearest gophers (Richardson's ground squirrel) according to everyone I've asked is around 2 hours away!

4192+132=4324 A very pleasant 3 hours. Lovely sunny day, light breeze and consistent supply of targets. 17 HMR provides some good air time even at 200 yards.

Stopped for a bit today. It's getting harder as the grass is getting higher. 4566+223=4789

Drove a long way today and the target opportunities were just not there! Grass was getting tall and a hot, windy day didn't help
4789 + 53 = 4842

4842 =1 = 4843

WAY to hot and dry down South no sense tempting disaster. So have not been out for a bit. Once a rain shower or two go through there will be lots of targets. The grass is short and the little guys are 3/4's grown up already.

+227= 5070. Getting tougher to see them as the crop grows. And the wee ones are out so the shots are getting tricky.
Got my first triple the other day. Lots of doubles as the little ones stand side by side

Hunting a gopher polluted field, using a Cabelas rimfire scope, shot out the retical, one fine cross hair fell off and the whole thing rotated about 20 degrees off vertial/horizontal. I've only shot about 400-500 rounds so far.

5070 + 147= 5217
