Hi all,

A third NAVHDA chapter has started up in Alberta.

North Point Alberta chapter is taking memberships for those looking to train and/or test their versatile hunting dogs.

Training days are based out of Tomahawk, about 40 mins West of Spruce Grove. This is a great opportunity for everyone, especially those that live closer to the Edmonton area. In addition to the opportunity to train, is the opportunity to register in NAVHDA hunt tests, which tend to fill up very quick.

I helped to build their bird pen, but being mid way between two clubs, and knowing most of the other club members, I am staying with them. I do wish the new club well.

I too, helped build their bird pen, and attended a training day. Nice bunch of enthusiastic dog owners. I wish them all the luck in the world.

For anyone interested, NPA is running their silent auction on their Facebook page.
A big ticket item being a hunt at Stettler Pheasant Festival which includes 4 festival hoodies. The event is sold out so anyone still wanting to go, this may be one of your last chances.

Another heads up that NPA is running their 2nd auction on their Facebook page until July 29.

Some big ticket items include a guided goose hunt for 4 hunters by Chinook Waterfowl (which only has 1 bid on it as of this post) and a bear arms 12 gauge semi auto shotgun.
