Default Lake options this weekend close to Edmonton?

Hi. I am hoping to head out and try my new float tube this weekend, if the weather is descent.
I am looking for any suggestions of small lakes/ponds that are close to Edmonton? I am not looking for anyone's favorite/secret spots? Just looking for general areas that people have found good this year.
I went to Dolberg Lake last weekend and had a nice time!
Thanks!

Give muir lake a try, lots of larger fish. Also spring is worth a shot.

How has east pit been? I have fished from shore there once about 2 years ago.

I would try Muir but at the bottom (south) end since haven't found anything up top lately.
