Can hardly believe they tied it again!! That was nuts....wow. Going to OT. A point in a game that looked like it was going to be a Shame Classic....

X2 from yet another Oilers fan. Kudos for turning that weak start into such a strong finish. Well done Flames.

I was wondering the same thing. Is this the Jet Fuel they need ? Is this the penguin crap kicking they took last year?

I hope so.

I think a few things have changed for the Flames this year as compared to last.

Point production: Thachuk is tied for 20th in scoring with 13 points and is the Flames leader. Calgary announcer said last night, "if Gaudreau isn't scoring, what is he really doing then."

Defense has been average and Gio is rolling a "0" on his +/- right now. He was +39 last year and near a point a game player.

Goaltending. Rittich hasn't been terrible but he hasn't saved a game yet that I have seen. More like "O.K. save Dave" as opposed to "Big save Dave."

As an Oiler fan it was a fun period to watch and I have Thachuk in my pool this week.

Realistically.......oilers had a better start than they should of and flames are late to get going.....
Things will switch around.
Might be within next 8 games..... might take 35...... but it’s comin.

Need to alternate Talbot and Dave like the oil did with smith and kosk. Make them fight for top spot.

Dave has had some stinkers, no doubt, but on some of those stinkers he hasn't gotten much help and other games he's played great and gotten no help. He averaged 0.945 SA% against the Jets and Carolina and the team scored a combined two goals. He obviously didn't save those games, cause they lost, but I'd say he was by far the best Flame on the ice.

That Tkachuk goal is one of my favorites in a long while. Amazing.

Hopefully Flames are aware of what time today's game starts. Kind of surprised Rittich starting. Yes he played ok , but wasn't stellar. Needs mor6help on front of him for sure. Johnny can show up at anytime as well.

I'm good with Rittich in net, I think he is good, with untapped potential to be great. And Great comes with playing, winning and losing. He has shown himself to be a real team leader as well, when he covered Kylington to protect him when he got boarded, my respect doubled and then some. I think he is the franchise goalie.

Anyway, GFG!

I puked a bit in my mouth when her horrible voice came on. God, she really should be doing Bar pool or Darts on TSN 15. Enough with this crap SN...

Do you poor buggers in Edmonton have to deal with her? Or is it just us who is special?

Anyway, GFG!
Absolutely best teammate, when he celebrates goals and wins, and for sure when he covered him during the scrum was perfect.
How about this playing with a lead thing. I like it.

Yep, nice goal from Bennett there, playing with a lead is good.
