Oiler player to watch tonight? Kassian. Keep your heads up boys.
Forgot about last week already hey? I'd say getting 10 pts a year off you fellas for the last decade was pretty important for us, no need to go back 30 years!

Is Kas gonna get steam rolled and you don't want to miss it? That would be fun to watch. Smart though, you don't know if it's going to be Looch, Rinaldo, Chucky, etc., best to just keep your eye on Kas.

Did you just accidentally lump Chucky in with your "tough guys?'

I'm in it for a bottle with you again Bessie. I'm starting to feel bad...like a magpie maybe....for all the bottles you've been sliding this way.

But I still want another tonight! Yer on!

So I didn't see the first BOA, but heard on 960 the Edmonton did a little thank you for Looch and Talbot. So will Calgary do anything for Smith and Neal tonight?? I think maybe Smith as was here a few years or two but Neal?? was one year and hardly worth a thank you. That said not sure how you do one without the other.

After thanking Smith, they could say something like 'and now we'd like to thank James Neal for everything he contributed to the Flames, as we recall his season here. Uh, well, er.....'.....followed by 60 seconds of dead air, and then 'please rise for the National anthem....'.

Other than that stretch between January 17, 2016 to January 26, 2018 where the Flames managed to eke out 2 points in 9 games you mean?

Unless his career was cut short due to injury/illness/tragedy, I don't think a tribute is necessary for a guy who played 63 games and scored 7 goals in the uniform. It would be kinda like throwing a big farewell party at work for a guy who was there for 8 months, probably doesn't happen often. Flash a little "Welcome Back James" on the jumbotron and call it good.

Hmmm, did I say per year or an oddly specific timeframe cherry picked from the schedule over the last decade plus, I can't remember?

And then Milan would sing Oh Canada just to prove he's not completely worthless?

All the while moldy jocks and rolls of sock tape would be raining down onto the ice from eastern conference scouts trying to tempt Treliving into a trade.

Does Jan. 2016 to Jan. 2018 represent roughly a point per year? I can't remember.

You don't actually think I meant "calendar year", as opposed to "NHL season" given the context, do you?

So last weeks game was a bigger game than this weeks? Or was my statement correct?
Either way......Big game tonight!

Default Game

Should be a good one, looks like the 4th line is Rinaldo Reider Bennet. That should be a good energy line.

I personally think last weeks was. Either way, it's a divisional rival, but we'd lost 4 of 5 going into it, had been SO twice in that stretch, and were out of the playoffs. So last week, we won, beat a divisional rival, ended a scoring slump of sorts, and were in the playoffs, all in one game. If we win this, we beat a divisional rival, extend a winning streak, and are still in the playoffs.

But agree, 'tis a big one.

For the sake of bessie's liver, or wallet, you two should for sure have the wager. There is only so much one Super Fan can do.

Hope it's a barn burner tonight, not another snooze fest like the last couple non battle.

I wish they'd switch Bennet with Looch.
