Default Spray Lakes Late Sept early Oct

I would like to fish Spray lakes in the next few weeks - looking for a few Spray Lake veterans to answer a few questions;

1) Can I launch my motor boat in there?
2) What to use? (buzz-bombs, spinners, jigs, bait and what colors)
3) What depths?
4) Tips and Techniques (troll or jig or down-rigging)
5) Is this a good time of year to go out there?
6) Any particularly productive locations you can share? (PM me if you don't want it public).

I am willing to share some info and reciprocate in the future. I am around the Edmonton Area.

1. Yes.
2. If you are going to jig something, buzz bomb or tube jig.
3. Variable, based on thermocline and water temp. usually fishing deepest part at around 50 or so feet.
4. Troll. Dispy diver, downrigger, 4 oz weight on 3 way swivel, pull large flashy spoons.
5. Couldn't answer that one.
6. No

We also are thinking about going Saturday, though not sure I want to fish in 5 degree air temp and possibly very windy conditions.
