Default fishin the athabasca river...

just ichin to get out for some big wallys..do you think its to early to try the rivers??ice is off but run off is bad and the waters still pretty murky..think im going to give the atha-b a try friday...may just hit it where the mcloud dumps in...
what do ya think??

Never tried Athb or Mcleod down strem this early in the season. I did try Mcleod near Robb early one year and it was a waste of time. Further down like past Edson it could be good but I've never tried. If you do go on Friday, please post back. I would be interested.

Hows green up going up by Robb? Still lots of snow or has runoff started? Just curious, i'll be up there for a bit in the next few weeks.
