Ladyhawk Cabins
Hi, Has anyone on here have used Ladyhawk Cabins on Lesser Slave Lake. If so how was it? I'm thinking about going there this weekend or next.

haven't stayed with Bernie for a number of years but he's a top notch guy with a nice clean modest set-up. if you're there to fish and use the cabins to fry up some fish at night and hit the sack they're perfect. there's been lots of recommendations on this forum for ladyhawk. check out wally and dawn @ the reel inn resort if you want to fish further down the lake, they are also great folks with nice cabins.

I've stayed at Ladyhawk a couple of times! The people that run Ladyhawk are great! The cabins are very clean and well taken care of. The ice shantys worked well (especially when it was -40 and windy outside). In comparasin to some other operations we've stayed at they were one of the best. The other really nice place was Tawawa Cabins on Waterhen Lake in Sask. I find the fishing is better on the Saskatchewan side

I think the shacks are setup (at least the ones we are in) in canyon creek area. I don't think Joussard is too far...since I'll be up there I would love to try out a tourney up there once.

Southshore Cabins in Joussard offer overnight bunking. Make sure you have a way to get out to the cabins if there is no road though. Linda @ South Shore - 780-355-3888

Yes you can as I just did it this last weekend/week. They do not have bunks so all you need to do is bring a cot and you are good to go. We spent 2 nights out in the shanty and had a cabin for the other 2.
