Default I’m going Sat but....Fyi

The radio station is advertising it as the boat and sports show.
I heard it a few times and the ad just sounded odd, then it hit me. It’s not the boat and sportsmen show. Someone has made it so as not to be exclusive. It’s just ‘sports’. Not that it matters but times are changing and things are just ridiculous, uugh.

The show has been a dog for many years now and many retailes choose not to go. They have been putting all kinds of stuff in to fill space too. Special deals, advertising etc to try to keep it going. There was talk a few years back of shutting it down too. Efmonton is much better and even the mfg focus on that one.

I suppose I am being politically incorrect now by calling it the "sportsmen" show, crazy how most women involved in the outdoors wouldn't have any issue with it being called such. I am going to check it out Saturday as well in hopes that they have done something a little different this year to keep the spark going. Guess I will find out this weekend.

I'm hoping to go - would like to see the new Garmin Xero sights in action and hold them in my hand.

Has anybody been down there to comment?

J.

I was on my way there but ended up buying a boat at Auto Marine before I got there so figured I'd save what little money I had left and skip it.
