Waterhen is well known for its pike fishery.....not sure about the walleye situation there.

Mom and dad just spent 5 days at waterhen and da said the pike were great and they caught a few eyes up buy the river moth left of tawan cabins about 4 miles down the lake. they spent one day at keylee and caught 53 eye at the north end of the lake and all were good fish in that 4 pound range also caught some pike biggest was 18 pounds. Even if fishing is slow at waterhen you have lots of other lakes that are well sheltered from the wind within 1 hour. Have a great time at my favorite area at home and you should have great luck.
