All I really remember is that Chase and Dee both got second in their respective classes, youth and women's. Hopefully "The Bomber" can post some up soon. I'd like to know that I didn't get dead last. Lol

First place went to Lee aka (duceman) second to dick284 and third went to a young fellow I didn't know. I shot well but not quite well enough. It should also be said that both Lee and dick shot the whole day off there hind feet and free hand. Those two are truly on another level even though I wouldn't tell them to their face.

Sounds like another slam dunk shoot! Sorry I wasn't able to attend this year due to work commitments. How was the new format? Speed things up? I don't want to miss the 25th next year. Should be a ripper. Anything special planned? I'm thinking of bringing a contingent of Flying Elvis's. Stony Plain chapter. And one of the events at the shoot could be shooting a tv, off a toilet. Congrats to the winners and hope to see all next year.

Freaking knackered right now. The heat and humidity pounded me and Rugersingle into the ground.
33 shooters.
3 youths.
3 ladies.
Duceman and I shot off a tie for first.
Ross(Rosco) local welder dude, ex past pres... Took third.
Yes I ran the MM, not the best forend for hard core silly wet style gunning, but it did fine enough I guess. Coyote was sure small at 6 power....
Deer was fast in the morning, slowed down for the other flight, so their scores were better than ours.
Last place lady with a blank score sheet left with $60.... for 3 rd in ladies($20) and $40 for most likely to improve!
My friend Paul's boy was amazing with Bernadine's.270 and 100gr pills over 33 gr of H4895, did some serious shooting on the longer course, I think he was getting tired by the afternoon.... Afterall all the youths were only 11!....
Good times for sure..... Gonna hit the shower then go out for dinner with the family.
Oh ya Jenna's boyfriend shot the #1 RSI in 7x57 on the weekend as well, his first time shooting anything......
Wishing I had more than fleeting moments to jack around like Dee's photo bomb, or I'd take more pictures.
Just imagine 33 people with guns, and a good part had family there to enjoy the commeraderie and further support the shooters. Great steak supper donated by Secure Energy, deserts and side dishes donated by shooters, prepared by family, and even some of the shooters themselves. You could feel the love, as we all revelled in the wind up to another great event.

Oh ya.
Congrats to Opelsasquatch for winning the swinger gopher gongs that were donated by Parttimehunter. Opel hit it 3 times from 385 off his belly and elbows to win it in the third round of a shoot off ( both shooters hit it two times previously)

was a great time, as usual!!
nice to see some new faces, young families, and old friends again. got lucky and had an 'on' day, was nice of dick to give me the win in the shoot off.
next year as mentioned will be the silver anniversary, a few more changes will be coming with the targets, and a drive to get more sponsorship for more prizes and cash.
thanks a lot to dick and family for putting on another great shoot!!!

Oh those boys of yours. 3 blonde haired balls of energy, wearing PJ's and rubber boots.... You make sure you let your wife know she's in contention for mother of the year!

Charcoal briquettes at 25 yards off hand, gopher gong prone, rabbit silhouettes at 100 yards, non dominant hand shooting a 4" dot at 50 yards, a bear at just over 100, an elk at 215, a deer on a zip line at about 160, and a coyote at an insert ermines distance of about 350. Most shots were were one standing, one sitting, one kneeling.

Thanks
That was one fun-filled family shooting event.
It was all good - the people, facility, food
(tossed salad popped as if the veggies were picked that morning), campfires talks, well behaved kids, tough shots.
Thank you to the organizers and those who RO'ed in the sun all day.
