Default Interesting Catch

Hope this works. First time posting a pic to the forum. Just got back from my line and wanted to share an interesting catch. Squirrel and weasel caught in the same trap.

Cool! I watched a weasel run down a gopher hole once, then a gopher came out half way and was dragged back down against his best efforts! I wonder if the weasel in your picture was attacking that squirrel?

Hmmm, velly intellesting, the trap had been moved, the springs are compressed and locked and yet there is still a light snow on the catch(s), I guess stranger things have happened...

Sourdough, it's the trap...... Belisle, even with the locks on.

I realize that, Jim. That is why I was so skeptical, cuz most of mine are Belisle as well and if hasn't happened to me yet. Maybe it's jealousy....

Pulling traps one time had a dead squrriel in a 330 box. It was just laying there. Thought maybe a weasel killed it and stashed it with his beaver bait that he had been feeding on.

Almost looks like they were daring each other to see who could get the closest to the set

This marten had the squirrel bait and the trap jaws on it's top jaw only. Not sure how it happened but I didn't get a pic of it in the trap
