All geared up for spring

So last summer I found a 12 foot tinner on Kijiji for $180 that I jumped all over. Ever since been looking for a motor, trolling motor worked ok for the time being. Posted an ad on kijiji last week and got contacted by an old timer in Leduc with a 5hp Colman for a price I couldnt pass on. Sure they are chinese, but so is most stuff we buy these days. He used it to putz him and the wife around the lake on a 10 foot zodiak. Went in and picked er up today, changed all the fluids and spark plug, thing runs like a top. Cant wait for the ice to be gone to get out.

The guy just bought a new boat and need that one out of his yard at his lake lot. Theres lots of good deals on there but you gotta be quick, or lucky haha

Good on you. Awesome find on both. They will bring you hoards of pleasure. The best part is you have a trailer for your cruise ship. Enjoy the new season when the ice thaws ( hopefully before July

Trailer was from a purchase about 10 years agoon kijiji, I paid $400. Trailer was good, the 50hp on it was good but the boat was in rough shape, transom and floor were rotten so I scrapped the boat, sold the motor tank and steering hoom ups for $500 and kept the trailer and got a vin put on it, $100 Broke even on the deal and got a registered trailer out of it.

Nice find! I've been looking for something similar but everything is over a thousand bucks and not even a trolling motor so good on ya. Keep on keeping my eyes open haha
