Coy my flesher is very finicky, its called a wife. Actually she does a great job and enjoys it. We trap together and share the work part. This year Santa brought her a Dakota V flesher. She is just practicing on the (pink) lesser quality hides this year and tans them for us, but should be up and running for next season.

Doug, what method does she use for tanning. I would love to do a few of my own furs that I plan to keep

Mark, acid pickle bath and lutan F, she also does the traditional brain tanning some. Both are very time consuming. I showed her pictures of the mitts made by Braggadoe's wife and will soon have some coyote mitts and beaver mitts. Doug
