Default My boy's first fish

Just thought I would share my boy catching his first fish. We are both just getting into fishing and get out when we can.

I was shocked he even caught a fish. I had my back turned to him for a second to cast and I heard his reel buzz. "Dad.. I think I got something!!" I turned around and saw him try to keep his rod from going in the water. So proud of him, he was so pumped the rest of the weekend.

Believe it or not I caught this picture of it too.

Rod and tackle, $. Camera, $. Boys first fish with dad, priceless. Congratulations to both. First fish and dad has a new fishing buddy.

Just a thought, would the young angler share some tips and tricks.

No the picture was just a fluke shot with my iphone. Hes a little nervous to catch another fish, I guess this one kinda scared him a little. He still likes to with me, just not put his line in as much lol. Im sure he will get over that. Hes all excited now to ice fish!
