Default Anyone replaced an AC compressor on a ford f150?

My pulley seized and is shot. Wondering if anyone found any tricks while doing it?

What year is your half ton and which engine does it have?

I have done them on the 5.4 and the 5.0 just evacuated the suatem changed the part and recharged. It helped i dis it at the shop with the a/c machine
