Default ICE-55 flasher video...... Informative

in case some people are thinking about buying a flasher this year...here is a little video , showing somewhat how they work.

They are using the same one I own....the ICE-55. what i do notice from the video......is that the colors pulsate and "flash"....but really.....they dont, they just do that on film for some reason.

"Bro" is a very good ice fisherman...His sidekick Dave Genz couldn't find his pecker without his Vexilar.

Looks like a pretty sweet unit! I've had the Marcum LX3 for around 3 years now and just love it. Same concept as this flasher, but doesn't seem to have all the features as the hummingbird. Great units to have for ice fishing for sure.

Is there an advantage to using a flasher verus a portable sonar? I used to use my eagle 6300 and it seemed to work great for ice fishing. Now I'm a camera junky
