Default Pike and Pickeral around Calgary area?

Hey fellas!
I was looking around, and asking about fishin holes around the Calgary area for Jack and Pics.
I'm gonna hit the Bow hard for Brown and Bows, but I'd like to get into some Jack pretty quick here.
Anyone know of a few holes you wouldn't mind passing me for alittle Jack and Walleye fishing?
Much appreciated all!

I lived in Whitecourt years ago, and know that like the back of my hand,,,but I'm too new to this area....no secrets yet...lol..
I'm looking for any around the 150 KM range around Calgary..

Crawling Valley Reservoir, McGregor Lake, and Lake Newell all seem to be popular for pike and walleye fishermen. There's a magazine that comes out each year called Barry Mitchell's Alberta Fishing Guide. It would be worth picking up because it lists most, if not all fishable bodies of water in the province, and describes how to get there and what you'll catch. Canadian Tire, Safeway, etc., sell them. It's a good purchase for someone new to the area.
