Default Ice thickness

Does anyone have any idea how thick the ice is on lakes around Edmonton.. I haven't been out on ours yet, 1 hour NW of e-town Lac La Nonne.. Looking to fire the auger up and try out the Ice Cube tent with the kids..

I think youll be ok to drive a quad on , just drill holes when you start out and every 20 or so feet . Thats what id do if I were you , or just walk out .
