Gull/Sylvan Ice report Dec 16/08

Went to Gull first this morning and had 11 1/2 inches of ice at Brownlows, slow for fish however. People are venturing out a ways with the trucks but me with my Heavy Diesel parked at shore and pulled the Hut out.

Sylvan had 7 1/2 inches on the very North end. One fellow with a Dodge Dakota was out with his truck. I am sure for cars and small units it was safe as the ice looked good but still only 7 1/2 inches. Better bite for me there and hooked 3 fish and had another 8 or so bites.

i just confirmed with work that they can pi$$ off if they think im gonna work this weekend due to giving me a day off in the week due to bad weather.
