i would like to get on there too, but they dont allow access at the resort.. I heard if you owned a snowmobile you can get on quite easy. Lots of perch in that lake.

Southwest corner of the lake, in the Hubbles Lake subdivision that piece of lowland is the desiginated park reserve of the subdivision. Access can be had there, parking is a bugger. The lake is spring fed and has some very deep holes in it, the diving club still has a bell down there, maybe see it with under water camera. Warning, alot of houses around the lake use the water for many household uses in and out, not unlike a lot of alberta, but I grew up there and will not fish there.

dont know about the in and out water use. But that lake is one of the clearest around edmonton. Ive spearfished that lake many years, before they cancelled pike on the list.

the diving club has much more under water. A mermaid, a great white shark, and some other statues.

We use to spearfish for perch there. I've swam around that lake many times, the only place we saw fish was by the resort on the west side. The owners did not like spear fishing and would not let us access from their beach so we would swim from the resort on the east side across the lake to fish in the bay just south of westside resort. We also swam the perimeter many times and only seen fish south of the west resort. Seemed to be lots of both perch and pike in that little bay.

Not trying to scare people from fishing there, just informing folks. Was a water and sewer contractor in the area and have been asked to fix systems that used lakes for in and out usage. That one iis one of hundreds of lakes in our province that are still used that way, unfortunately. Enjoy the fishing.
