Default Walleye Fishing around the Hat?

Hey Everyone. I've managed to catch one walleye in my entire life and that was last weekend out of the South Saskatchewan River. My biggest handicap is that I don't own a boat (or I don't know what I'm doing...) anyways - do any of you guys know anywhere within an hour of Medicine Hat that you can catch walleye from shore?

Thanks for all your help and advice!

Rattlesnake at the canal inlet, 40 mile on the south east end or at the canal inlet, ssr when it mellows out, chin lake at the bridge, and probably a whole bunch more I can't think of right now.
