Buckwheat, let me tell you, that is a kickazz knife. My buddy, Prinny53, bought the exact same knife, but with different color handle. I got to sharpen it. I absolutely love that thing. Congrats man. I am major envious!
Within the next year, I will be copying you guys!

Sns2, your post inspired me to reach out to Clint and have him make one for me. Hope to put it to work on a wainwright bull moose in December

I have this same knife as SNS2 mentioned. It may be the best knife I have ever owned/used. It actually made cleaning up some geese we got into over the weekend enjoyable. Seriously.

I used this model of Clint's to break down and cut a forkhorn white tail last weekend- super handling and a great design!

Hey folks, after a summer of wrangling in the Yukon I got to put Phil’s knife to the test. Skinned and butchered a sheep, skinned out a bison head and caribou head. I did a mountain goat start to finish as well. Tube skinned 2 coyotes.
It did a great job holding its edge and overall I was impressed with the quality of the knife. It was comfortable to hold and did everything it needed to do! If your needing a new go to hunting knife, shoot Phil McCracken a message!

Here's one I just completed for a fellow AO member:
It is a semi skinner with CPM Magnacut Stainless Steel, with a satin finish. The blade was heat treated to HRC 62, and sharpened at 17 degrees.
The handle is made of Juma acrylic material (looks like snake skin), and finished off with stainless steel pins.
Black Kydex sheath included.

Love it! Well that knife with Magnacut will work for me for sure! Hardened to HRC 62 and 17 degrees, You made the knife with all my wants. And the Juma handle is unreal with the steel pins it brings it all together. Can't wait to have it in my hands!!!!!! Thanks Again Phil!

The mail was good to me today.
Loveless style semi skinner using Bob Loveless’s actual pattern. CPM Magnacut with stainless steel guard. Red liners, green canvas micarta scales, with stainless Corby bolts. Fully tapered tang. The workmanship is impeccable.

Oh my that has the right lines and some impeccable workmanship. Those grinds are perfect as is the symmetry.
Do you plan on using it this fall and testing its functional ability?

I’m going to. James called me and asked me to use it. He wants a report on the Magnacut. So that is the plan.

That design has really grown on me and as much as I love what I’ve got… I can always use another. I would love an honest report either here or via PM before I commission him to build one.
Luckily it’s hunting season over there so I shouldn’t have to wait to long… Man I don’t miss hunting seasons and tags, she’s open slather over here.
