Hahaha, I actually think when the ice becomes a little less safe, you can probably start collecting.

Not real comfortable pulling anything off that I don't own or have permission for (but that's just me).

So opening a can of worms here, and fighting words, but hey, thats what happens when you are drinking wobbly pop! Just a thought, but wouldn't this be the exact reason why shacks should be registered?

I think that Fish and Wildlife should start doing a registration for them or post signs in major shanty towns or major boat launches if perminent shelters arent removed mid March before Ice is unsafe , they come by with a gallon of diesel and a match .

Hey bwackwabbit, how is the ice doing on Sylvan? I am one of those "busy working" people, not the "lazy" people and if i don't get back by next week or can't find someone to get it off for me, i may need some assistance. Thanks for posting and offering to help people out, last i checked this was a forum for just that.

Ice is still 2' on the Lake but most access points are getting dicey

We are expected to get some serious snowfall in the area today/tomorrow so could get real ugly real soon.

I figure if we all want to maintain these fisheries for our kids then we've got to get involved as much as possible. If I'm free I can lend a hand.

Appreciate it, will let ya know, and would do the same for others myself. Last snowfall I spent half a day plowing the snow with the quad to most of the shacks around me so all had access
