I haven't been to PCR since they stocked the eyes, lol, but if you search on the forum there is TONNES of info about it. In fact, one of the most talked about lakes on here.

As far as I know, go to the boat launch and fish off the dock that is there. Simple stuff will work, pickeral rig tipped with minnows, green/white/black/or orange jig head and minnows, or soft baits probably work too.

any color jighead with a quarter of a smelt on it. you cant miss. let it hit bottom 20 or so feet off the dock and hold on tight. watch for the walleye stealing shark that lives under the dock

it only smells a little bit? just cut them in 4 or 5 pieces, thats all you need. the fish are starved they will eat them like candy

Pine Coulee Reservoir
Fee: @20.00 per night/access to Pine Coulee campground

6km west & 4 km south of Stavely Alberta on SH 527 then 1km east on Township Road 140 Follow the boat launch signs on good paved roads ( till you get to Pine Coulee) Good Boat Launch.

I started fishing there in may.. right off the dock cast out about 10 feet to as far as your rod can..

use 1/2 inch smelt or they will take JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.. 7 yeard kid was useing veleveta chesse he was catching eyes right left and ..

unles you like standing on a wobbly dock( boater made waves) bring a folding chair ")

i use a pickeral ring with # 6 hooks or flr yellow or flr chartuse 1/8 to 3/8 jig heads, tiped with smealt or earthworm(less than 1/2")

the eye's you will catch are 12-19 " some a bit more..
ALL ARE CATCH AND REALEASE ONLY
there are BIG pike in there, and you can keep pike.
( i got a 4 lber last week)

hope this helps :
