Default Snipe Lk. Pike

Got my best pike of the winter on Saturday at Snipe Lk.
34" long weighing in at 14.5 lb.
I was packing up to head home when I saw the flag go up one last time.
Funny thing is it turned out to be male. I didn't think the males usually got this big.

lol thanks for the weight graph reference FK. My own scale said 14.5 lb so I'm going with that.
As I said, he was male and all muscle and for 34" he was pretty fat and solid. One fillet off this guy had way more meat than both smaller pike combined.
If you still believe me then I don't blame you

Fishinggeek, I didn't bother measuring those perch, but Snipe has some nice fat ones for sure. I got one about an inch bigger at Sturgeon Lake this year, but again didn't measure or take a picture with a scale reference.
