Fished sylvin lake the first time ever for walleye yes you can catch them with bottom bouncer and deer hart. How ever the lake is very busy and the boat launch is good except lined up most of the day for bigger boats.

Come the 27th of this month, things will REALLY slow down at the lake. A Lot of the inboard boats will start to pull in for the season and as of the 15th, anyone operating a Motorboat will need a license. Can't wait ! There's going to be some good fishing to be had out at Sylvan and GULL in September and October !
