In my opinion mink lake is a waste of time. There are millions of stunted perch and the odd Jack. The water is pretty weedy. The only good thing I noticed is that the water was quite clear. You would see perch follow your lure and then scramble when a Pike goes by. Jackfish lake is a much better lake for pike, however if you are going there you better go ealry if it's a nice day because there is a 23 car limit to the parking lot.
